Where do you keep your laundry basket?

Mine is at the top of my stairs, everyone’s dirty clothes can easily get tossed into it and it makes it easy to keep on top of it when I’m seeing it multiple times a day.

My mum always kept her inside her walk in wardrobe, which just seems like annoying to get in and out of all the time

In the kitchen, in the cupboard next to the washing machine. Much easier than upstairs and everyone is responsible for putting their dirty clothes in it (the bathroom is downstairs as well so it works perfectly).

Everyone has one in their bedrooms and we have a little bag on a hook in the kitchen for bibs and anything that gets muddy.

In our bedrooom I have 4. One on each side of the bed and 2 in the closet. If we get undressed in the room we can just throw it in. I started to notice sometimes my husband will get undressed in the closet and just leave the clothes on the floor so that’s why I put 2 more in there. I tend to wash everyone’s clothes separately (except whites)so my husband and I each have 2 and the kids each have one basket in their rooms.
I have 3 in the laundry room- one for whites, one for bath towels, and one for any cleaning cloths/floor towels.

Each kid has one in their room (quite cute ones like white knitted ones) and we have a double one in our room where each side has a built in bag you can take out to take the clothes down to the washer. The little bag is annoying to move the clothes from the washer to the dryer so we also keep a proper basket downstairs in the utility room where the dryer is.

Dressing room now but previously been kept in my bedroom or cupboard when I’ve lived in different places.

I keep mine in the kitchen in the winter & outside in the summer.

Everyone has their own, my teens wash their own clothes, and we have one in the laundry room as well. Coz the laundry is right next to the main bathroom so anyone that walks out of there from a shower adds theirs clothes in, except the teens. (Mainly towels and my boys’ clothes) They take it into their basket and wash theirs like once a week. We have one in our ensuite bathroom

We have one in our utility room. It just meant that dirty clothes wouldn't be left around for an unknown amount of time. Plus if they're not in there I dont wash them! Tough 🤣 xxx

in the upstairs hallway

Mine used to be in the master bedroom but our son kept playing with it. So it’s on top of the washer now and we lock the laundry room door.

I don’t have a laundry basket, we just throw dirty stuff straight in the washing machine and I turn it on once it gets full x

Ours are in the hallway between all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. The only time it’s inconvenient is when we get the kids dressed in the living room after breakfast

Avatar

One in each bedroom and one in the bathroom

Avatar

We have a five section one in our bedroom closet. The kids each have a hamper in their closet. We have a small bin downstairs for anything that gets taken off down there or comes home dirty from daycare.

I don’t wash adult and kid laundry together though.

Kitchen near the washing machine

Avatar

My room has one and so does my toddlers room and the bathroom is directly across from the washer so that’s unnecessary for me

The laundry room. We have hampers in our room and one in the bathroom for towels. Otherwise dirty clothes go right into the wash machine until it’s full enough to run.

Ones to chuck dirty clothes in we have in each bedroom and one in the bathroom, but the basket I use for carrying laundry in (from upstairs to washing machine/machine to clothes line) collapses down flat and fits down the side of the washing machine

Avatar

Kids have one in their bedrooms and we have one for the adults next to the washing machine.

Avatar

Top of the stairs/just outside the bedrooms and bathroom so everyone can just chuck clothes in but still everyone seems to miss it 🤔

Avatar

We have one in each bedroom and then one at the top of the stairs for bedding and towels, just makes it so much easier

Avatar

Laundry room though the kids open the door and chuck them in
