No. You aren't supposed to leave the house when you have a tummy bug. You should be symptom free for at least 24 hours before leaving the house really.

Get them to school and have some much needed rest. Just dont go near anyone as much as is possible

although where do live? They send officers and give you a fine just because your kids miss a day or school?! That’s mental

wow! I live in Canada and we don’t have to pay fines or anything for kids missing school days. I mean most kids go to public school which is funded thru our tax dollars so there’d be nothing to pay for if our kids don’t show up. The most that could happen is children’s aid society getting involved if they think there’s a problem at home or something if the kid is missing tons of school. But other than that it’s up to us if we go in vacation or keep our kids home from school, we just have to call.
