I’m planning on breastfeeding but I know from my first that it doesn’t always work out. I used Hipp organic last time but considering Kendamil this time as it’s sold locally. I need to take ready made bottles into hospital with me anyway so I would like to know what the most popular brand is to go for. My first suffered from colic so I am also worried about that.

Following. I chose aptamil based on google research but id like to see what experienced mums have to say

Interestingly our midwife said they are all exactly the same. Formula from Aldi is exactly the same as more expensive brands. We've settled for pre-made Aptamil (big packs on Costco) as a back up to take to hospital if I struggle to breastfeed :)

Midwives have said in my antenatal classes that they're all the same due to having to follow health standards and it's all just marketing. All of them are just as good for your baby as each other ❤️

I used aptamil with my 1st but it’s sooo expensive now! I will probably go for Kendamil

Kendamil used it with my first!

Aptimil pre made to begin with as no idea if I will be able to breast feed or not

I used cow and gate with no1 and doing the same again, my nan swore by it and it’s a what I was fed on too so kind of a family thing 😂

Kendamil . Pretty sure it’s the only one made in the UK or atleast it was 3 yrs ago, may of changed. So doesn’t contain any nasties needed for travel etc

Im using SMA advanced. Its the partially hydrolysed milk proteins. I found it was better with my first so going for it again

Kendamil

Go for the cheapest. At my antenatal class the midwife said they’re all EXACTLY the same.

Kendamil !
