Pramsuit/snowsuit
Is anyone still getting their baby a full pramsuit this year for the cold weather? Our boy isn’t walking yet and I was thinking for events such as firework shows, Xmas lights etc where we might have him in the carrier?
Or is he too old & will look silly?

We’ve been gifted one for our little one’s birthday and he’s worn it loads already! I personally find it much easier to just put a cosy pramsuit on over inside clothes than faff with layers 😊

Snowsuits, thick coats etc are not safe for carseats or carriers. They are fine for in the pram though. If you are wearing baby you and the carrier count as a layer that are wearing. You should also wear the carrier under your coat so you can use your own coat around baby
I think it might be a bit warm in the carrier unless you get a thin one, but we have one for the stroller for school pick up etc and so he can crawl and not get his clothes dirty
Yeah I've just bought one with fold over feet so it's a bit more flexible.
Definitely not silly and keeps them much warmer & dryer
Oh I missed your bit about the carrier! I bought a thin fleece onesie last year that he wore all the time in the carrier instead of a thick pramsuit and it was lovely and toasty but not too hot. I use the snowsuit for the pram and when he’s crawling / walking round at the park x
No we’re just using foot muffs on the pram and coats/thick jumpers. We end up playing musical chairs between the pram and sling on longer walks as my eldest still gets tired. One of the twins usually ends up in the carrier snowsuits shouldn’t be worn in the carrier because of the risk of overheating and it compromises the safety of the fit. We just layer up and have a bundle bean baby wearing cover for the carrier
I’m planning on getting my little boy one he’s walking so I’m gonna get a footless one and some warm shoes for him x
I am just using a coat and pram foot muff, it is quite a struggle to get him to wear them now! My boy doesn’t walk either
I have a stitch pram-suit/snowsuit from primark for my daughter for the winter also got her a matching one with her sister who will be newborn in December !!

We have 2 snowsuits that we were given when he was born that are 12-18 months so yeah I will use them as it’s a waste not to but I probably wouldn’t have bought one. I’ve bought a waterproof one that’s fleecy inside but feet are free that we will probably use more x
