Church?
I want to start feeling more closer to the lord but i also don’t want to go to church at this moment due to physical reasons and social anxiety does anyone know where I can start I plan to buy a bible in the next coming up month!! (Please no rude comments)

Hi! I thank you for sharing your question. I’m glad you ask it. It’s so beautiful to see how the Lord is bringing you closer to Him. A lot of us have been there not want it to go to any church for one reason or another, but then slowly just at the right time we find the church we needed . Trust the Lord, pray for it and he will lead you to the right place. Why do we need a church? When you became a follower of Jesus, you were “born again” (John 3:3). Can you imagine being a newborn baby just coming home, and your parents left you alone on the floor, giving you no food, milk, clean diapers, or love? That would be terrible! The church as a physical family makes sure you get fed and loved, the church, your local group of believers, will encourage and guide you as you grow spiritually. You can start taking some short courses online for new believes. They’re very helpful and there is real people assisting you if you have questions. I would suggest you:

The book of John is also a wonderful place to start reading The Bible. It’s such a beautiful book, it presents Jesus in a deeply spiritual way, as the Son of God and yet one with Him ❤️. You can also use a study Bible to help you understand the context and the meaning of certain words. I’ll suggest you NIV or ESV, they’re very clear to understand. I have an inspiration bible, has images you can color and space to take notes. There are also some really amazing online options. The 15 min bible hour pod cast is one of my favorites.
Also the she The Chosen is amazing christian fiction, but its all about Jesus and his disciples and it covers the writings of John , Mathew, and other books from the new testament
I've attended some churches that offer online service. It started for a lot of folks during Covid, and many just continued. If you chose to attend an online service, you wouldn't really need to talk with anyone if you didn't want to or even leave your house.
I'm sure you could look up some places that offer that, if you feel interested.
