Induction has been booked!!
My induction has been booked for Friday 7th November (due date is the 8th) I’m being induced due to medical reasons but I’m so scared as a FTM!! I’ve heard and read so many horror stories I’m expecting my labour to be awful! Any advice ?

i had to be induced due to concerns over baby when i went into triage a few days ago, it was very sudden and i was very scared and upset over the thought of it, i can’t say it was easy but the midwives and doctors were all brilliant and helped me throughout the whole thing and my baby girl was born on the 28th october at 39+3 and she is perfect. Whatever happens you’ll get through it and you don’t even think about it once they’re here x

my induction is booked for the 9th at 39+2.
i was induced with my first baby too, and i feel i had a positive induction. while it was a slow start, once my waters were broken, things were moving along and my baby boy was born about 16 hours later! i did have an epidural as the contractions came thick and fast once they had broke my waters.
the midwives and doctors were also amazing with me, listened to me and i felt fully supported through the whole process. i had a great recovery, so im going into this induction quite positive.
