Hiccups at 37 weeks

My baby has been having hiccups everyday for days and I saw in the internet that it could mean something is not good with the baby, I’m going to see my ob next week, but does someone knows anything about that?

Hi! My baby had hiccups a lot when I was pregnant ! My ob told me it was completely normal and it was pretty much the baby “practicing breathing”. But if you have concerns it wouldn’t hurt asking your ob when you see them 😊

I’d try not to worry, the main thing is you are seeing someone for it to put your mind at rest. My little girl hiccuped all the way through my third trimester, and now she’s been born she hiccups whenever she is hungry or full. Same as me when I was little. She is a little refluxy but it’s perfectly normal and nothing to worry about!

As far as my midwives have told me, hiccups are healthy because it means baby is practicing for his breathing outside of the womb. My baby also has hiccups every day during the nights, they last around 5-10 minutes.

All three of my pregnancies ues by babies get hiccups like crazy at this time.. currently 35+4 and its uncomfortable but not to worry. Their diaphragm is developing is what I found put during my 1st pregnancy...all is good

Mine has them all the time. Just had them about 5 min ago (currently out in the living room instead of bed because he wouldn’t stop moving and my heart burn is so bad) My first had them a lot also and they would make him mad lol 😆 they help with the babies breathing.

Mine had them at least 3 times a day. Sometimes it was whenever I moved. I doubt it's anything to worry about but if you're worried for any reason, go get checked.
