I always do and am thinking of doing the same for my 2yo girl, but then thought what if people don't do that. I have to because otherwise it gets so tangled

I always sleep with my hair braided and in a bonnet. My 2.5 year old lets me braid her hair before bed occasionally. Sometimes she'll wear a bonnet too, but most of the time I just resign myself to brushing it out when tangles inevitably happen

Are you talking like in just a pony tail? If yes, than no. I will braid my daughter's hair or she sleeps in a bonnet.

I would braid it rather than just tie it up for her

I said no because at the moment my hair is cut shorter, but when it’s long I braid it at night. I used to put it up in a bun when I was younger, though. I think a ponytail is too uncomfortable for sleeping.

I use a bonnet I don’t tie it because it messes up my curls

I try to wear a bonnet

I don’t like it touch my face so I pull it back

I never tie it up. It has never got tangled - I have naturally wavy hair.

I either do a loose bun on top of my head and use a grab to hold it rather than a bobble so it’s not tight and pulling at the roots or just braid it.
