So preparing for Christmas month, is it fine to eat Camembert and Brie as long as it's piping hot?

No I think it’s not safe even then

Camembert you can eat piping hot not sure about Brie x

They say you can when you cook it properly. I never risked it though with my first. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

As long as it’s piping hot its fine for either of them. The bacteria can’t withstand those heats, and likelihood is the bacteria isn’t present anyway.

You can choose the risks you’re comfortable with. Personally, I eat the cheese, chances of listeria are higher from salad leaves. But that’s my choice.
Baked Camembert is much nicer than raw anyway 😂

The biggest risk is if it’s made with unpasteurised milk. Check the label as it should say either way. Always go for pasteurised and serve it hot.
