What's your best "hack" to getting laundry done?
I know some people try to at least get one load done a day to help keep it moving, but I find when I do that I just never end up putting it away. I think sorting and putting away clothes for 3 kids is the worst part 😅 i really want to be better at laundry and not have piles of dirty clothes everywhere.
What method works best for you? What helps you find it a little less tedious?

I seperate into different laundry baskets. One for each my kids and then one for me and hubby both , I task myself to get atleast the kids washing all done asao asap as that’s normally quicker , then move onto our clothes xxxx then once kids clothes dry I put them in a bag to take up and then our too

Yeah I’m terrible with laundry we wear everything until we have nothing left to wear 😅

I wait until the basket is full (2 loads worth) and then start working on it. Once both loads are done I'll dump it on my bed so I have to fold it and put it away before I can go to bed

I also do different bins for everyone in the house. If I’m not close to the bin when the laundry comes off it goes on the floor instead of someone else’s bin. When I know I’m passing by that bin I’ll pick it up & take it there.
Everyone in the house gets a different day for laundry. Monday is my husband, Tues my kid, wed is towels, & so on. I save mine for last since if I don’t get to mine I guess my punishment is having less to wear 😆
While I fold or put it away I make it fun with a podcast or music or a phone call. Before I know it it’s done.
Works great for me!
I’ve also seen people do this but it requires you to be completely caught up before hand. But they take everyone’s laundry for the day & put it away...everyday. So you basically only end up having one outfit per person to do daily which isn’t a lot at all. I’ve never been caught up that way but it could give someone incentive.

I get my kid involved— she loves to help. Of course having front loaders are the easiest for them to put stuff in and out. Some people don’t fold their clothes and just have small baskets or bins where the clean clothing type is sorted into for easy access. One of my friends just throws her dirty clothes right into the washer and just starts the cycle when it’s full. Also using hangers instead of having to fold is another way to get the clothes put back that a young child can handle doing!

I collect laundry per individual in the home, do individual loads (per household member) and do towels and linens together! Takes away the sorting while folding part and makes laundry much more manageable.

Oh! I also hang shirts to avoid folding. I only fold bottoms because they’re easy. Also I don’t mate socks. Everyone has mostly all the same socks so I dump them in their own drawer & you can grab them as you go. Any specialty socks has its own bin & you can pair them when you grab them.

Fold it as its coming out of the dryer💙💙

Omg I struggle with laundry so bad I’m always never caught up lol

I get it washed but it never gets folded 😂

Found the best hack last night 😂 dumped out all the bins on the floor and had my toddlers help sort and put their clothes back in the bins, it gone down in like a 3rd of the time it would've taken me by myself. It was amazing 😂
