I wanted to say women have the free will to not join religions but then I remembered,not everyone has this freedom in the world

Men erased a lot of the Devine feminine from religion to seize power. There are books out there like "When God Was A Woman" and "When God Had a Wife" that explore these themes.

I disagree. Humans created religion. Men with power twisted it to make themselves more powerful. Not all religions began with a man creating the world.

can you provide any source for this? I have never seen any historical evidence that says anything close to this.

And to my understanding Hawaii stood as a matriarchal society until colonization occurred.

In the current discussion, I don’t really think it’s relevant though. Modern religion was created by man. Christianity was created by men. The bible was written by men and literally tries to act like men created life. I can’t speak for other religions or ancient religions. Some time of believe has likely always existed because as humans we want to answer questions. And when we don’t know, we create the answer.

So I still agree with OP here
