Dog is driving me insane
I used to love my dog as if he was my child, but now I have SO much anger towards him and he drives me INSANE! He’s a Jack Russel and not very kid friendly. He doesn’t like my son or when he tries to play with him. He has SO much energy and sometimes when he wakes the baby up I become livid! I’m starting to honestly resent him and just don’t even know what to do.

Oh girl me too. My dog is a perfect angel and she makes me SO mad now lol someone told me it was postpartum pet aversion. Just don’t have the same patience anymore. This morning the cat woke the baby bc she was meowing for food. So annoying!!!
Having a dog and baby is so hard, especially if they’re high energy.. I went through this around 6months pp and I was ready to give up our dog because I couldn’t handle him any more. But practice makes perfect. My dog did better when he knew what to do. I take a little time to run him out and do trainings. I know it’s easier said than done but if you can just take them for walks together a little goes a long way.
My dogs been acting up like that’s since I was pregnant 🤰🏻, I think they want attention. They are a bit jealous , their mommies got a new baby. It takes time but they’ll start to play
Thanks ladies! I’m hoping it’ll get better with age, he seems to like toddlers just not infants 🥲 its just an extra curveball throughout the days 😭
