Any moms currently or have experienced dealing with a child custody battle for a move away? I’m relocating soon for a better job/pay. Trying to better my child’s life. Feeling alone and isolated. Feeling like I have no one to talk to. I have no girlfriends or partner to get through this and I’m already feeling defeated…

Since thenweve been in California almost 3 years and I was just awarded sole physical and legal
If dv is involved there’s better justification because it’s not about “well I want my kids more!” My ex was a danger to the children and me and since we’ve been gone there’s been a pattern of behavior that’s been consistent and justified my reasoning
They can’t stop you from moving. You just have to mediate out a custody arrangement
We’ve been doing 50/50 this whole time but the new location is a few hours away. But it provides so much more for my baby and I including better schools. Dad is trying to go for primary custody. Seems like everyone is telling me I won’t win this. I will just feel as though I’ve failed as a mom if he gets primary custody. I’ve been working so hard to better our lives but everything will mean nothing without my baby.
