Therapy in the Atlanta area needed

Hello,

I have a huge concern about my 3 older and I don’t want to sweep this under the rug. Tonight while watching TV my 3 older came up to me for a high five and once we finished playing he told me to hit his penis with my cell phone. He said multiple times and got mad when I didn’t do it because I started asking him about it. He’s in daycare and has recently moved to the big kids class. Which therapist should I contact about this?

I would take a few steps.
1. I would give him toy dolls/figurines and ask him to pretend he is friends and teachers from day care. See what type of behavior he acts out. It would likely be a reflection of what goes on in school.
2. I would consider confronting the teachers about it to find out if some of the other children either talk about these things or actually hit each other in the private parts.
3. If it happens again, I would contact a therapist and let them know what was said. You can let them know you want to make sure your child didn't experience some form of inappropriate touch or get exposed to something he shouldn't have been exposed to.

Honestly, kids do say random things sometimes, and then it never comes up again. So there is absolutely a chance that all of that would be for nothing. And I hope that is the case.
