Anyone else’s little ones started to walk?
My Daughter took her first steps at 8 months and is now walking (with lots of falling!) and I’m super proud but also super nervous her little legs aren’t ready for it which might sound silly, but scared she’s gonna hurt herself!

Can I see a video of this?! Really random but it just blows my mind that tiny little babas can walk so early! My son is confident cruising on furniture etc, but his legs are way too wobbly to walk properly
If they are walking themselves then they are ready! It's if you were forcing them to do it before they were ready when it could cause damage. My first son was walking independently at 9 months. It has meant that he has absolutely zero fear but otherwise he's totally fine 3 years on.
Almost - she’s taking multiple steps at a time and standing unsupported confidently (if she pulls up on something first) but not fully walking yet.
They definitely wouldn’t be doing it if their legs weren’t ready though

ahh amazing, we’re absolutely not forcing and have never even encouraged her to walk, as we didn’t even think it possible for a baby so young to walk but I’m pleased to hear the confidence your son has gained from being an early walker!! That’s amazing 🤍
ahh bless her she’ll be wandering about the room any day now! We started off walking from pulling up and yesterday all of a sudden she pushed herself up, and even bent down to pick her teether up and stood back up 😭 scary how quick they grow!! X
My son is pulling to stand and can walk a few wobbly steps if you hold his hands. My daughter however, she was walking at 9 months! I was so worried and didn’t have her walk outside for a while but she pottered about the house all the time x
Yes my little girl is walking confidently now she got her first pair of proper shoes the other day from Clark’s 🥹 same as you, first steps at 8 months.
I’m a little worried about bow legs but don’t think there is anything we can do xx
I’ve been to soft plays with her where people stare because they look so funny, like little babies walking 🤣🤣 xx
I can’t get my head round this! Just incredible! They’re still so little 🥹
