Baby Movements

Hi! So this is my second baby, 14 months between my 2, i’m now 20 weeks pregnant and i have felt no movements and just a bit worried. With my first i had a posterior and felt her from 17 weeks. Is this something i should worry about? x

Hi Chelsea
I am pregnant with my first baby. Anterior placenta also. I didn’t feel any movements until I was 28 weeks 🫣 - I was getting small bubbly sensations low down at around 20 weeks but nothing obvious until 28 weeks. I have nothing to compare to as this is my first pregnancy but I can completely understand the anxiety when you have had a posterior placenta before.
I would wait until 24/25 weeks. If your still not feeling anything contact your midwife ☺️ xx

Hey, I’m also first time mum, Anterior Placenta too 😩.

I’m now 21 weeks and still not felt much. Low down I get slightly crampy bubbly feelings which last a few seconds.. that’s all right now.

Had 20 week scan, all is fine and baby is a mover so I guess it’s just a waiting game! X

Hi Chelsea, could’ve written this myself! First baby I had posterior placenta and felt her from around 18 weeks, this time around I expected to feel earlier as that’s what everyone says! But I’ve not felt a thing (anterior placenta this time) even though baby moves sooo much in scans. Hoping that changes soon as it’s made me so anxious in this pregnancy xxxxx
