He hasn’t ever had one before so I’m worrying quite a bit. I did notice he was a bit sniffly in the night so I suspect it’s some sort of cold/flu but seeing him like this is so horrible!
I can’t get him to take calpol, he spit it back out. Is there anything else I can do to ensure his fever comes down soon?
Thanks in advance!

The only way my baby will take calpol is sitting him up in the high chair, not sure if you’ve tried that?

You could try this for the calpol if you can get to boots or a supermarket.xx

I find nurofen brings down the temperature quicker and keeps it down for longer plus they only need a 2.5ml dose so less to get in them. I find lying my daughter flat easier, put a tiny bit into the side of their cheek and wait for them to swallow or put their dummy in if they use one to encourage them to swallow and repeat til they’ve taken it all x
