Can anyone else’s toddler just not cope with being ill? Ours turns into an absolute nightmare when she’s ill! And she’s pretty much had a cold since September when she started nursery! She cry’s, shouts, doesn’t sleep, doesn’t eat, grumpy 24/7 even if it’s just a tiny cold she just can’t seem to cope very well with being ill. Shes probably had maybe a week or so without being ill since September. I know it’s to be expected with her being at nursery but I just want my nice happy girl back 😩

We are in same boat this week. Regular calpol, forced quiet time, cuddles and ignoring bad moments unless it'll cause harm seems to be working
We started nursery last year same time and I was still breastfeeding too. Thank god because if last year happened to us now it would be complete carnage. The terrible twos molars and sickness are not an ideal combo. Our daughter had flu or RSV last month and for 2 weeks after I was worried something serious happened to her as change in her behaviour was so apparent and hard to cope with. X
