Christmas tree lights

My mom has a white Christmas tree so she uses cold white and blue lights

Last year I used warm/yellow lights. This year I’m doing rainbow as I think my 2 year old would enjoy rainbow more. He’s right into colourful things

I always had white he always had rainbow so we’ve used both on our tree

Usually a white but my son asked for a Christmas like i had in the olden days (apparently im 80 🤮🤮 ) so weve gone full rainbow, the foil things hanging from the ceiling and paper chains

I’ve always had a super colorful tree. When my son is older though I want a black and purple tree. Black tree, purple lights, and a mix of the both for ornaments. I want my son to feel the joy of decorating with whatever he wants, but I also really want a tree in mine and my husbands favorite color.

I grew up as a rainbow lights household but my mum uses warm white nowadays and so do we. They're not cold, they're basically yellow!

I am toying with some coloured lights but I only want the warm 90s ones. None of this blue LED nonsense that feels cold. I just need to find the right lights!

Our new tree is white light but our old one was rainbow. I think both are cute. There’s pretty much no Christmas decoration styles I don’t find beautiful. I wouldn’t necessarily choose them each for my own home but I like looking at them all.

Rainbow household here, I like the Christmas tree to be as fun as possible. I let my 3 year decorate the tree to her hearts content this year and it’s honestly a little mad but I love it and she loved doing it 🥰

I got a led this year and it can do both. I prefer the warm white but kids prefer rainbow so we switch between when they go to bed I switch to warm light and my fireplace on

It depends on what ornaments color I’m going with I grew up with warm yellow and cold white but my husband is the rainbow lights as well

Growing up I was a rainbow light household and hubby was a warm light household.
Then we went on the bright light (my choice he didn't care) and I've this year gone back to colour lights

Where are you buying your lights from?

Both. I do cool white deep in the branches and colored on top. Gives the tree a ton of depth and makes it more magical

my daughter always wants them rainbow so the second she is in bed i switch them over to the white setting lol

We do both, we just switch back and forth cause our tree has multiple light options. Lately it’s been twinkling white lights during the day, and then rainbow at night

I'm from a rainbow lights family but as an adult I like the warm yellow 💛

My wife comes from a rainbow lights family and I come from a warm lights 🤣🤣 the compromise? I got lights for the tree that are warm but have the option to be colorful. The colorful ones bother my soul ahahaha so we agreed they can be on for an hour everyday at night. But then theyre warm the rest of the time. But outside? We have colorful lights for her and she loves it 🤣
