So me and my ex still live together as he won't let me because I'm still breastfeeding it would mean he wouldn't have 50/50 custody.
He wrote up a child arrangements staying he does bath time
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Monday - he wen to IKEA at bath time.
Tuesday - he lied about having diarrhea and instead went shopping and carried on with work.
Wednesday - he was home late from work.
Thursday - he went to collect something from Matalan.
Tonight - he said he can only do part of bath time because he has to go back to work.
Is this fair, or does it seem like he is just picking and choosing. I never skip time with my son regardless if I have things I need to collect I take him with me during the day or go when I have the chance. I'm just fed up of having to just pick up his part when he chooses other things.

Won't let you leave. Girl if you want to leave you need to leave, he doesnt get to not let you. He doesn't need exact 50/50 right this second and it can be worked up to when they are able to have longer stretches away from you and if he can't even make the effort to do the things he decided he would do when you guys are right there under the same roof he's probably not going to step up enough to warrant 50/50 when you're out either. He just wants to control you and probably make his life easier if you do a lot around the house that he doesn't want to have to do if he's alone.
If you're going to be a single mum it is 100% easier to not still ahve to babysit the father at the same time đ

Tbh sounds like he wrote the âplanâ to have some control over the situation but quickly realised that actually requires effort in reality.
All heâs actually showing you is you are capable of doing this alone â¤ď¸

Depending where you are, not all countries consider breastfeeding a reason to limit dads time. In the UK the family courts see formula/bottles the same as breastmilk, so they wouldnt consider this in the decision. Idk if this helps you in any way, as you can leave and he can still have 50/50

I understand it feels hard to leave as you are worried about the 50/50 custody. But I want you to have faith, God works things in miraculous ways. You will get the majority of the custody, just continue showing up for your child. But more importantly protect your mental, emotional and physical health so you can be the best version of yourself for your child. By getting out of this control, youâll save yourself the headache of babysitting a man child whose actions is showing you he doesnât want to be a part of this. Remember actions speak louder than words. For the sake of your childâs wellbeing, please remove yourself from this situation that is costing you your mental health. Youâll sort out the custody later on. He has already shown you through his actions while under the same roof that he wonât show up for the child. What makes you think he will show up for the child when you leave?
All the best xx
