Yes I started drinking from 33 weeks, can usually start from 32 weeks. It’s very bland but I’m drinking two cups a day.
My friend who gave birth recently swears by it and didn’t have any tears during labour, whether it’s the tea or not we will never know, but it’s worth a try!

I just started 2 days ago with 1 cup a day! I’m 33w+6 days today. I feel no different which is great so will continue and increase slowly over the next few weeks.
Got the one from Holland & Barret

Not into fruity teas
Boy do I love other herbal teas 🫖
I love tea so much, I feel English

Had it with my first and will be starting again next week this time as I’ll be 32 weeks

What brand do people tend to buy? / where can you get it? Thank you! X

Raspberry leaf tea doesn’t prevent you from tearing, but it does help tone and strengthen your uterus. Which could technically make your contractions more efficient and your labour shorter! If you’re looking for prevention from tearing I would recommend perineal massages from 34 weeks and warm compresses whilst in labour ☺️❤️

Had it first time, had a 40 hour labour with really strong painful contractions all the way through, still ended up with forceps, so not bothering this time, will drink something that I enjoy the taste of instead 😂

If it helps strengthen and tone your uterus and shorten labour then it’s only going to help with tearing also. I haven’t made it up
