Low temperature & really worried!

Just after some advice please! My little boy had a bit of a sniffly nose but is also teething and last night he was sobbing in the middle of the night which is really not like him at all! I took his temperature just to check and it was 34.7. I went on google and it says to get urgent medical attention as this could be hyperthermia but when I rang 111 and also got a call back from the doctor he didn't seem too concerned, he said it can go up and down when they're unwell. Has anyone had this where they had a low temperature instead of high? Apparently low temperatures can be really dangerous and I'm really starting to worry 😩 it's still the same today but he seems a lot brighter in himself so I don't want to ring 111 again incase I'm worrying over nothing but google is making me really paranoid! X

My 2 year old had this when she was about 1 year old.
The doctor said that a low temp should be treated the same as a low temp (i.e. Calpol) because the Calpol regulates the temperature (and not just lowers a high temp). We ended up in A&E at the time because 111 told us of the risk of hypothermia.
