Baby formula

My HV told me that there’s no difference between first stage formula and follow on formula. It’s just that in the UK there’s rules that stop formula companies from advertising first stage formula (probably cos of the anti bf connotations), so they created follow on formula which can be advertised. That being said, I often found it was cheaper than first stage formula when shopping for my daughter in 2023, so I did sometimes buy it. Essentially, buy it if you want, don’t if you don’t, and don’t feel pressured either way ☺️

My HV team and GP have all said that follow on is a gimmick and to stay on first stage until baby’s one

Yes it’s practically same just different name
