how do i know for sure if my baby has oral thrush?

my 7 month old has always had the like milk residue on her tongue and she is breastfed. she’s been on solids for a couple months now and is now starting to actually intake some food instead of spitting it out. this morning after her breakfast (apple puree and frozen raspberries in a mesh feeder) i noticed her tongue was like yellow and i tried wiping it with a damp cloth but it didn’t really go away. she seems completely fine she’s eating and breastfeeding as normal she doesn’t seem like she’s in any pain and there’s no other parts of her mouth that have it. i don’t think it’s thrush but the internet is making me stress about it. is it normal for milk residue to not wipe off sometimes? or is it always meant to wipe off easily? also could it just be stained from
her solids??

My 11 month old ate her poo I’m think

I think my 11 month old girl ate her poo I went upstairs to make his brother ready for she did poo I notice she have yellow stuff on her face … I’m scared what will happen to her do I need to go hospital or should I call gp in morning?!

HOW are we waking our newborns?!

I'm trying to not go longer than 3 hours inbetween breastfeeds as my baby is not back to birthweight and my boobs are feeling quite engorged.

I'm having such a hard time waking my baby up for feeds and everything I'm reading online is about newborns feeding constantly, mine feels like the opposite?

I've tried changing, stripping down, cold water on belly, ticking feet, blowing, placing on a cold changing mat, talking, moving. It's taking me around 20 minutes to wake.

Surely this isn't normal. I'm worried I won't even make it to 8 feeds today.

Switching to formula

I will have exclusively fed my 3 month old breastmilk in 2 weeks time and I think for my mental health I want to combo feed. Does anyone have any tips on this? I currently pump 7 times within 24 hours and would like to reduce that so I can live without having to pump every 3 hours. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Xxx

Locking toddlers bedroom door

Do you think it’s ok to lock 3.5 year olds bedroom door? She keeps coming out and waking up the whole family so struggling to function. Or is it cruel to do that?

My mom died, feels like my kids mom did

My mom died a month ago. She was a huge part of my life, and was there for me every time I needed her without question. She died unexpectedly from a stroke, and since then I feel like I'm in a life I don't recognize.

I see no light at the end of the tunnel. I see a life without the person who loved me most. And now my kids get this shell of a person as their mom. I feel no joy, i cry and I'm angry. The kind of mom no one really cries over. Nothing like my own.

If you've been through this please tell me it gets easier. That one day you wake up not wanting to just go back to sleep.

Co sleeping position

Is it okay to co sleep in this position with my 5 and a half month old? She mostly sleeps in her cot but sometimes she just wants me. Her face is completely uncovered and chin isn’t on chest etc. I know it’s not ideal but she seems to sleep so much better like this than on her back. My arm is cradling her. I don’t breastfeed and she doesn’t feed during the night. Need reassurance that it’s okay or an explanation why it isn’t😥
