My little boy is nearly 11 months, he uses a straw cup, he sucks it, gasps then let the water dribble out of his mouth, sometimes he will drink some but he only drinks around 1oz a day, I’ve dropped his mid morning bottle but I’m just so worried that he’s going to get dehydrated, he’ll be one next month so I’m hoping this passes or someone can help me!
We’ve tried several different bottles and it’s just the same!

My daughter is the same, I noticed she drinks better from an open cup or from a normal water bottle.

Same age same thing, might be just a new “skill” they have learned. I take the bottle away when he starts doing that .

Exactly the same here too and also same age! My little girl will have a few normal sips so I know she knows how to do it, but after a few she either starts letting it dribble out of her mouth or she will fully just spit it everywhere 🤦🏻♀️ It must definitely be a learning curve and hopefully they’ll grow out of it x

My boy does it too! Think it's quite common at this age X

It’s defo learning a new skill because mine does the same - drivbles it out then laughs 😂
