How to alternate calpol and ibuprofen?
We are on our 3rd ear infection this month (or the same lingering one) that is now in both ears. I've been told to give both calpol and ibuprofen to ease her pain, I know calpol is no more than every 4 hours and ibuprofen 6+ - but how long should I leave it between the different medicines? For example today she had calpol at 6am then ibuprofen at 9am?

You can take them both at the same time there’s no rule around how to combine them. I’ve done that when I need to bring a temp down quickly, otherwise just scatter them as needed, as long as you’re following the guidelines on each bottle it’s fine x
I tend to do one of them every 3hrs, with longer gap at night, something like this:
6am - Calpol
9am - ibuprofen
12pm - Calpol
3pm - ibuprofen
6pm - Calpol
9pm - ibuprofen
1-2am - Calpol
I have been told to alternate them in every 4 hours;
6am -Calpol
10am ibuprofen
2pm - Calpol
