Sheet / mattress protector for silver cross cove?

I have the same question and have a silvercross reef 2. Have tried some in John Lewis that said they were the right measurements for the mattress but they wouldn’t fit on properly. I’m also wondering if we should be using mattress protectors or not due to overheating risk?!

We’ve got a mattress protector for our next to me crib, it was sold as a package and I hadn’t really thought it would impact overheating tbf just cos it goes underneath and is basically just like another thin sheet! But yeah that’s a pain about the pram sheets not fitting, I keep ordering different sized bassinet sheets for the pram online and none of them fit!

Hmm yeah it’s hard to know what’s best isn’t it! I think the ones we’ve got are cotton so hopefully they’re okay?! I might check with a midwife as I’ve got an appointment next week. Still leaves the question though about finding sheets that fit the pram bassinet 🙈 feels like a bit of a minefield doesn’t it!

That’s a good idea to ask the midwife though, see what they say. I think as long as you have something in the crib (as that’s where they spend most of their time) and keep checking they aren’t sweating etc. I think the pram they won’t be in as much really so less of a risk of accidents and maybe just put some Muslins down or a cotton blanket underneath baby..

I have a reef 2 and have bought Moses basket sheets from Amazon that fit perfectly, I didnt think about the over heating so thanks for the heads up! Will have to look into it xx

I’ve googled the dimensions of the cove mattress and it’s the same as the reef so these sheets and mattress protectors should fit that too ❤️
