So my daughter is 7 months. She is breastfed and she take a bottle of formula every now and again. Now that she’s on solids and she sleeps through the night most of the time she nurses less at night. But she is like 20lbs and is in 12 mo clothes. Now she’s not walking yet most people say she is going to slim down when she starts walking… then there other people that keep calling my baby fat in a demeaning way or say stuff like “you need to stop feeding her” like if she’s hungry I am not going to let her starve! I’m not worried her pediatrician said that she’s healthy and in the 90th percentile they don’t say anything about her being overweight. It makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong with all the criticism and it just makes me want to stay away from everyone. These are some of the same people that call me fat or commented on my weight 5 days pp. 5 days!!!!! So yea it kind of makes me sad 😔

My baby boy is also 7 months he is only 16 pounds and our doctor is worried about underweight he’s going to a specialist and everything you’re girl is 4 pounds more so to me that’s perfectly healthy if there not your doctors then quit frankly there opinions don’t matter fuck them keep ur girl feed and happy

I deal with this daily I had a few people tell me that she doesn’t miss a meal or they’ll just call her chubby she also 7 and she’s 22lbs I try to ignore them though as long as she’s good fuck what they say and I’m sorry them people are just rude and disrespectful just try to ignore them you are doing everything right if the doctor not saying anything about her weight it’s not a problem then they just hating I hope everything gets better

My baby is 7m and 19.7 lbs at his appt this week. (He is tall also) But pediatrician was not concerned at all, I agree I will never let my baby be hungry if he asks for food he's getting a bottle. There is absolutely no reason anyone should be commenting about people's weight, much less a baby

My baby girl was always <99٪ until she started walking and then shes around 60%. Granted her dad is a giant lol. However people are always going to have something to say about your baby, you'll learn to either let it roll off or snap back. People love to input on how you dress them, how you feed, getting them to sleep, activities you do, and it only gets worse once they start talking and developing their own personality.

My baby is 7 months. We just had her appointment yesterday. She weighs 14.65 pounds. Every baby has their own growth curve. You're doing everything right.

She’s a baby. No one should be body shaming a literal baby. My son is 7 months tomorrow and he’s 20lbs. His Pediatrician says he is doing great. Baby clothes are also not 100% accurate. My son can fit anything between 6-12 month clothing right now 🤷🏽♀️ don’t worry about it too much. Trust your gut and what you are doing. Only you know what’s best for your child.
