Looks like I just tested positive for influenza A - no fever yet but horrible aches and coughðŸ˜. Currently a ftm 16w1d pregnant. My OB has been great she prescribed me tamiflu and told me I’m fine to take robitussin/mucinex/ even some Advil before 20 weeks.. but just feeling so unwell and worried about the baby being exposed to virus and /or exposed to Advil but the Tylenol just isn’t working. Anyone else have experience getting through a flu? Edit* I got the flu vaccine this s year and covid vaccine and have been careful so just feeling discouraged .

I had the flu after getting vaccinated. Honestly I took no medications and pushed through it. Make sure you stay hydrated, drink tea to help calm the cough down

Pretty sure I have it too. My 3 year old tested positive last week and I've been feeling shitty too. No fever like her. I think it's actually good if you are sick while pregnant because the baby gets exposed to the virus and gains antibodies. I'm not a doctor lol but that's how I've understood it. I had Covid when I was 7 months pregnant with my first and everything turned out fine. Just rest as much as you can! Take meds when you need them. Drink lots of fluids. The flu is SO aggressive this year. You couldn't have done anything different to prevent it. Feel better 💜
