If so, did you give them anti-malaria? & what did you pack? I’m going in January so hottest time.

I went to Lagos when my son was exactly 4 months but didn’t give him anti-malaria before we left. I did also ask about it at the doctor’s when we arrived and was told they don’t give it. We’re back in Lagos again right now and my son is now one, still haven’t given it to him and it’s been fine for us personally. What we packed for the hot weather this trip:
Light cotton clothing: shorts, shirts
Sunscreen
Bug repellent for kids
Sun hats
Muslins (eg to use the wipe sweat off)
Handheld fans (one that hangs on my neck so easy to carry around)
Lightweight moisturiser for the skin - I usually use ointment for my son in the UK as he has eczema, but here it just made him sweat so I quickly switched to lotion since it’s not as thick.
Heads up that your little one will almost certainly get heat rash, but they’ll be fine. Whenever it’s getting too hot and if you’re in a place with no air con or if the fans aren’t strong enough it’s best to remove all clothing so they don’t overheat.

I don't know if they will prescribe to a baby that young. Go to travel pharmacy
