Fever

My daughter has been fighting a fever since Christmas night. I’ve been treating with Tylenol but it just keeps coming back. The lowest it’s been is 99.9 and the highest is 101.9. I’m starting to get a little worried. The last one was 100.4. She has no other symptoms, which is the part that’s worrying me most.

A fever that lasts more than 3 days or keeps returning is usually worth a call to the pediatrician, even if there are no other symptoms

I don’t want to worry you but a fever with no symptoms can mean different reasons like Urinary tract infections Less commonly, ear infections, pneumonia, or other bacterial infections can start this way. But I wouldn’t wait any more days to get your baby checked just to make sure your baby’s okay. Sending prayers on your little one ❤️

You can alternate Tylenol and Motrin. My son had a fever Christmas Eve and his pediatrician told me to do that and it broke finally. I hope your daughter feels better!

my daughter has also had one, I took her to the pediatrician on Friday , pediatrician, said if she still has it by Monday to call them, but when we went on Friday, they tested for flu, RSV, and something else and it all came back negative

Honestly, for a fever under 102, I don't do anything unless kid is acting off. If it's just a fever, let them fight it. If they are acting poorly, manage the symptoms.
As Bri said you can alternate Tylenol and acetaminophen every 4 hrs.
Even at the doctors, they can test a couple of things and maybe discover the issue. But whether they find it or not, they will likely just treat the symptoms.
