My baby rubs her ears a lot, is this normal? I’m assuming teething is starting. She’s very smiley & calm all the time. She has a bath every other day. And I feel like all her needs are met. Sometimes the upper crease cracks and I put sudocrem on it.

It could be multiple things, self soothing, scratching the broken skin (bc itchy), can even be a sign of an ear infection - it obvs depends on if she has any other symptoms, how much she does it, how long she’s been doing it for etc xx

My 3 yo still bends his ears in, he does it when he’s sleepy

Can be due to teething pain, or a self soothing technique. But it is normal!

Agree with above can be many things. Mine does this a lot and for her often either means she’s tired and trying to self soothe and tugging on it, or teething
