How many formula bottle feedings are you doing a day ?

Little one’s rough schedule is this and I’m wondering if I need to drop a bottle or keep 4 and reduce amount (which he’s doing now naturally)

6:45/7 - Wake up and bottle
7:45/8 - Breakfast
9/9:30 - Nap
11/11:30 - Bottle
12:30 - Lunch
2/2:30 - Nap
3;30/4 - Bottle
5:30 - Dinner
7:30 - Bottle

Our schedule is similar and I think she’s going to drop the 11:30 bottle herself. She’s started only taking 60-90ml some days on that one. I’m still offering 180ml at the moment but thinking about dropping the amount in that bottle and eventually moving up lunch and the third bottle to before her second nap

We swapped the second bottle for a snack and that’s worked well for us, I went by babies cues and she was barely drinking it! So now we go 7am wake / bottle, 8:30am breakfast, 10:30am snack (or when wakes from nap), 12:30 lunch, 2pm bottle (naps after), 5:30pm dinner and bedtime bottle 7pm

5 bottles a day & 3 meals

5 as he doesn't want to eat much 😩

Bottles ,do you mean formula and also meals,do you mean normal food eg porridge …. Because mine takes only cereal (pap)and eat what we are eating but not enough to get him filled though

4 x 7oz bottles and usually 2 meals a day but sometimes 3 but then he does also have a 5oz bottle at around 11pm.

He’s been on and off unwell and teething for the last 4 months so he’s only now started to eat properly. We were on 5 bottles up until a couple of weeks ago

We dropped from 4 to 3 bottles and also amount had reduced volume but that’s because she’s a good eater and like yours, naturally taking less - now takes approx 150-180 bottle per feed. Could just try dropping one, no harm baby will tell you if needs it.

So we are 3 meals, 3 bottles and snacks as and when (eg loves a car snack!)

For reference our schedule is roughly:

7am wake & bottle
8am breakfast
9am down for nap

1st nap: 1 hour 30

10:30am up & out

12ish lunch out (basically any time in the window)

1pm to 2pm (usually aim for 1:30pm): 2nd bottle & 2nd nap: 2 hours

3/3:30pm up (home or afternoon plan)

5pm - 6pm: dinner at some point! Usually 5:15 ish.

6/6:30pm bed routine including bath & with 3rd bottle (usually down by 7, but can be earlier or later just depends on our plans and her tiredness!)

My little one has 2 bottles and only has 4oz on them but sometimes doesn’t drink them all

Thanks all! I’ve dropped the second bottle and moved the third one to second before nap and seems to be working well x

Our schedule is similar but she is drinking less and less and wanting food more. X

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.
