As I am getting closer to my baby’s delivery, I wanted to know the best way to sanitise baby bottles and soothers.
(I’d like to have them ready in my hospital bag, just in case I’m unable to breastfeed).
Any advice or recommendations?

Milton tablets and fluid are equally as effective as long as you follow the instructions correctly. However a bottle only stays sterile for 24 hours after sterilising so if you want to have them ready to go in your bag they’d not be sterile anyway. I would suggest packing some microwave steam sterilising bags in your hospital bag or taking some Milton tablets. Equally you could check with the hospital - they might have sterilising equipment there for you to use.
Alternatively you can get the pre-made formula bottles which come with sterile teats
That's great- I have Kendamil formula in the bag but it doesn't have the teat, in that case can I get and use sterilised reusable teats from Amazon?

Kendamil sell the bottles with teats on their own website, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in store:

So maybe the microwave sterilise bags would be easiest - you can use the communal kitchen on the ward
do you sterilise the soother too?
