Does anyone else sleep with their kids when they are sick with tummy bug? My daughter has been vomiting and now I gotta sleep in her bed because I’m worried she’ll throw up in the night. I worry she won’t come get me, she might just sleep in the mess. But now I risk getting thrown up on too🤮🤢😩😩😩

If she will not sleep in her own bed I let her sleep in ours. She’s never been throwing up sick tho, only fever and runny nose (she’s 11 months)

She comes to our bed or we go on the sofa with towels and bucket down so I can guide her to do it there. She’s nearly 3, so she needs comfort. Being that sick and poorly is scary for them

We camp out in the living room so we don’t infect any bed, but yes I stick right by my sons side the way I know I needed someone by mine.
I have severe emetophobia, but the one time my son has spent an entire night throwing up I handled it like a champ & stayed calm by his side the whole night.

Yesss i almost always sleep either next to my kids or have them in my bed when they’re sick. I have a mattress on the floor next to my daughter’s crib just for when she’s sick 😅 my son goes in my bed when he’s sick. Stomach bug or fever or anything I usually like to keep them close

Give her a bucket to vomit in.

Ugh this happened to me recently. My son is old enough now I think he would be okay even if he puked half asleep but the thought of him being sick disoriented and upset and me not there as it happened wasn’t sitting right with me so I slept in his bed and risked getting puked on. He can puke on me if he needs to I’d rather that than him wake up sick wondering where is mom I need her. He’s 3 though and doesn’t quite understand the concept of puking in a bucket or anything specific yet.

They normally come to our room and I gets towels and a bucket.

I usually set up an air mattress in their rooms when that happens.

I always sleep with them when they are sick unless it's just a small cough.

No we have a little mattress we let her sleep on in our room. Our bed isn’t big enough for her plus my husband and I

*Update* I slept in my daughter’s bed until she woke up around 3am just lying there but playing with her stuffed animals and keeping me awake, so I returned to my room since she had made it through without getting sick again. Then at some point I felt someone climbing into bed and it was my son. I was like what are you doing? Go back to your bed, and he said I can’t it’s gross, then he started throwing up in my bed😩😩😩😩😩
