Are temu coupons real or a scam?

I often buy from temu and they throw promotions at you left and right. I always ignore them and make a regular purchase. Now they are giving me a 1460$ coupon if i buy 2 items because i am a "valued customer" 😆. How does this work? Is it a scam? Will i get 1460$ worth of products for free? I know in my head its a scam but i am curious if anybody tried it and how does it work?

I ignore it because you have to make alot of purchases to get the coupon or free item. Before they used to make it easier to get the free item with like a 20-30 dollar purchase but now you have to spend way more
