I saw a man say he assumes a women is broke if she doesn’t have her nails done 😅

I got my nails done back in October for an event and still have it on my nails cuz I was too lazy to take it off haha

Would rather spend my money on plants…

Can afford it but have chosen not to for the health of my nails 😢✌🏼 I get complemented on my NATURAL nails more than any woman I know with false nails. I’ve also never had interest in spending my hard earned money in grotty ”nail salons” where they fight for a seat and have to go back every few weeks because “one fell off”. No THANK YOU.

I could be a millionaire and still wouldn’t get my nails done haha

Would rather spend it on a nice house, horses, dogs, holidays, adventures, savings for my kid (uni, house, etc), a lifelong daily Starbucks/costa will be preferred over my nails being done haha
Or a private chef or cleaner.
Think it depend what you like, it just isn’t my thing. But I work in healthcare spend a lot of time outdoors so they would not be allowed and if they were would get ruined

I get my nails done regularly. Because I like it and because of a health issue are so fragile. So acrylics protect me not to loose a nail trying to grab a box.. After saying that, I would think immediately of any woman without nails done will have more money than me. This shit is not cheap. And I will glad to save that money. These man talking bullshit about women are most likely the same men that they have their toe nails like badger claws and never ever had spent a dime in selfcare.

I am not financially wealthy, but i have an aversion to getting my nails done so no matter what is in my account, it’s not happening.

I do my nails at home but more so because it’s convenient for me as a mum to pull out my nail kit and fix up one nail or do the whole set….many mums don’t have TIME to go make an appointment and organise babysitting to go get her nails done. I CAN pay $80 a set but do I want to- no. A $40 kit can last me 2yrs lol. My gf has bad eczema that flares up her hands when she gets them done also she can only do her feet. He’s beyond ignorant. Everything I do for myself is done by me at home.

I think there’s lots of broke women that have their nails done and lots of wealthy women that don’t have their nails done. I think it more has to do with lifestyle and preferences than anything else. The only reason I don’t have my nails done and long is because I’m still wiping baby bottoms and I don’t want to scratch my baby or get poop under my nails lol

Having your nails done is a personal choice… I actually kinda hate having mine done and since they grow super long on their own I just try to keep them clean and decently shaped at home.

LOL this man knows nothing. If a man is judging me assuming I’m broke because I don’t have my nails done he’s beyond narrow minded and I roll my eyes to him and say NEXT! I used to get my nails done all the time and spend so much money now I prefer the clean look of no polish to keep them healthy. I rock all my gold rings when I go out because I love fine jewelry more than my nails getting messed up by over polishing them.

I can’t get them done for work but also it’s time and I don’t want them done regularly as I view it as a occasional treat.

Far from broke, I just don’t have an hour spare without kids to sit in a salon.

I used to love getting my nails done but I’m a bit busier now with 2 kids and I’d rather pocket £70 to buy something for them to play with.

I stopped getting my nails done because I read too many horror stories about the curing lights causing skin cancer that goes unnoticed if you just get fill ins. Men love to have opinions about women that have no impact on their lives!!

I mean I'm disabled and have literally no income but my nails be looking on point usually. But I do that stuff all at home and I don't use fake nails I just grow my regular Nails out also I've seen girls who have like no money to their names still somehow managed to get nails every once in awhile like to treat themselves

Why is a man worried about a woman being broke? Shouldn’t he be paying for her nails to get done?
If he is interested in a woman who always has her nails done he needs to be more concerned with what man she already has paying for them and not about her being able to afford them.

Do I agree with the statement? No, not all. It’s an expensive preference. But I do think men think this. My fiance told me he was essentially bragging about much I pay for my nails and feet. (This is when I started asking him to pay for it)

We have a little extra so I COULD if I wanted to, but changing diapers with long nails is a NOOOOOPE from me. They make my hands feel gross and I can’t type with them. Like on my phone or computer

Not broke..I cook a lot for my family and I’m very particular about my nails..I wouldn’t want a chip of my nail polish going into the food 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t get my nails done (just my toenails). They’re a bit flimsy and I play the guitar so I just don’t like to. I make 6 figures and my husband makes a LOT more than I do.

I usually get my nails done. When I was pregnant and breastfeeding though the smell of acrylic, nail polish and hairspray would make me horribly nauseous and I would feel like I needed to throw up. So I stopped getting them done for like 2 years. Now im back to getting them done every 3 weeks
