Dairy allergy

Anyone’s baby have a dairy allergy when weaning? My LOs reacted twice now with a rash and hives. All okay other than this. Do you have to make a GP appointment? Health visitor?

Yes, mine reacted to cows milk and was head to toe in hives!

We went to the GP and they can refer to the allergy clinic. The wait was quite long so we went to an allergist who tested dairy and soya for us (reacted to dairy but not soya). We were advised to stop all dairy and they will retest when baby is one and then go from there (as long as it hasn’t got worse, we will have to follow the milk ladder) 😊
