Soya yoghurt

Yes, you can give your baby soya yogurt. If you haven't introduced soya yet as an allergen then introduce it in small amounts... otherwise go for it. As with dairy and all other forms of milk, you just aren't supposed to give them soya milk as a drink to replace however they're having their regular milk until they're one.

We use this as aren’t able to have dairy! X

Thanks both! Finding it a bit of a minefield trying to work out if LO is sensitive to dairy or not! She has normal formula but she also has eczema and sometimes it flares, sometimes it doesn’t!

Yes we was advised to use soya yoghurts as my little one is dairy free but we had to introduce it in a smaller amount before hand as it’s a main allergy , if you’re ever unsure on foods to give you can always talk to your health visitor they are there to guide and support you! X

When we saw the cmpa consultant he surprisingly suggested against soya if there is a dairy issue to do with cross reaction 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I’d say it’s trail and error x

I've been advised by a nutritionist to give all dairy alternatives without calcium. And the only one I found without calcium was coconut milk and yoghurt.

Lots of babies with CMPA can’t tolerate soya so just be cautious first few times. I found koko yogurt great as it’s fortified with vitamins.

I would test it as an allergen first if you haven’t, my dietitian told me if a baby has a cows milk allergy the chances of them having a soy and egg allergy is higher too.

My daughter is lactose intolerant and we give her coconut based yogurt, M&S free from range yogurts or petite filous do kids dairy free yogurt packs x

My 7months old LO has CMPA and she had a soya yoghurt yesterday and loved it. I tried it and it tasted no different!😊 I give it to her with a fruit puree xx
