We used Aptamil for my son. He was very colicky and asked if we should change formulas. The consultant said they are all the same apparently and it makes no difference.

Kendamil can be really rich for babies tummies. My first we started on Aptamil but he had colic really badly and we changed to cow and gate comfort which was a lot thicker milk and worked a dream for him (that and gripe water was a game changer). We’re going to try cow and gate first time around. It’s one of the oldest in ones around and I just think there must be a reason for it. Again these are all my personal thoughts. I wouldn’t buy into follow on milk though, that’s marketing and it’s the reason it can be on offers etc but ‘normal’ baby first milk can’t be. X

I used aptamil with my first and she was SO colicky, so might try something else this time x

My son didn't care whether he had SMA, Aptamil or Kendamil (or whatever we got for him on holiday, he had formula in Finland Spain and Portugal too 🤣). We used the ready made bottles and the Aptamil one smelled gross, that's all I have to say negatively about any of the formulas! None of them were better or worse for his tummy we found. Kendamil just tends to be the hardest one to source so if you find yourself to be reliant on it it's a good idea to use their subscription service not hope to get it at your local supermarket.
