Flying with baby on Delta

Has anybody flown with an infant in lap on Delta airlines?
I booked a flight with Delta with my son (he’ll be 9 months by then) on my lap but I was wondering what all I am required to bring with me.
I read it said a stroller can come free and his baggage and mine counts as one since we are technically only one ticket but what do I do about a car seat and play pen? Do I have to pay extra to try to bring a pack and play and extra for his car seat? Or does his car seat also count as a free carry-on just like the stroller?

I did a 4 hr flight with my 6 month old and it was awesome. (Flew Alaska back, didn’t like as much)
I brought the kind of stroller where the infant car seat clicks in so both were gate checked. I think the pack and play would need to be checked extra. But his diaper bag didn’t count as one of my personal items, it was “his”. So I was able to bring on my suit case, my bigger travel purse, and the diaper bag. Then you get to board early with family boarding to settle down. The attendants were so lovely and helpful too. I’d definitely fly Delta again. Safe travels!!
