Second Pregancy with Prolapse

What kind of prolapse do you have? I don't think rectocele or cystocele really have any impact on birth outcomes, although the prolapse itself can get worse. Not sure about uterine.

Hello. I have a prolapse from my first and have just had my second baby. I was worried about the things you mentioned but the pelvic physio I saw reassured me that it was possible to have another successful pregnancy and the prolapse wouldn't necessarily worsen. In my area we can self refer to pelvic physio when pregnant and I had meant to for my second but never got round to it. I had a successful pregnancy with a vaginal delivery. My first baby was a forceps delivery which can make prolapse more likely, so I was keen to avoid intervention this time.

No, I wasn't advised to wait a certain amount of time I don't think. We did talk about working on my core strength before having another baby (this can help with prolapse symptom), but I think that was a conversation I led.

We have a 2.5 year age gap which is about the smallest we would personally have wanted - we weren't ready to try again much sooner.
