Newborn kisses

Hi lovely ladies, I hope you are well. I need some advice, so absolutely will not be letting anyone kiss my baby. However, I want to allow it for my mum/dad, we don’t live in the same household but next to each other and they will both be in the hospital when I give birth. I’m
Not saying hands or feet, just the back of the head little kisses.

My husband however really disagrees and says NO, but I’m so uncomfortable with having to say no to them. And I really think the back of the head will cause no harm.

Opinions please xxx

I let my immediate family kiss the back on her head or her body. My MIL kisses her belly lol. But no hands and no face kissing

Just had this conversation with my health visitor today

She said apart from mom/dad no one should kiss baby on face

Back of head /hands are fine if immediate family wants to but if they smoke, poorly or have cold sores it’s best to avoid.

She also said if saying No is awkward happily put blame on midwife/doctor said not to 😂😂

If your parents are allowed, would his parents be allowed as well?

When my daughter was a newborn, I also let nobody but me and her dad kiss her purely for the fact it’s just so dangerous and they’re so little x
