Hi! I had sciatica with my first born in 2024. I have sever sciatica then. Had epidural and it caused permanent sciatica. I’ve been able to deal with it, but now…. I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I can’t walk!!!
Any ideas on how to help?!
Thank you x

Oh gosh, that's so painful I'm so sorry! I have no real advice as I've only ever had that pain during child birth but the tens machine was my best friend through it. It didn't help with the contractions the second pregnancy but really help me manage the nerve pain. Maybe?... That could help?
Hope you find a way to manage through it.

Oh god scitica is the WORST I have had for years even without pregnancy now, I did have acupuncture whixh helped short term, I dont think there's much else unless you have the steroid injections I did have a thai massage and told them I have scitica and that REALLY helped but not you can get one whilst pregnant.
I really feel for you, I was crying towards end of my pregnancy x
Only thing they can do to help is physio! It’s so bad at the moment I’m only 10 weeks as well so I have so much to look forward too! NOT 🤣🤣 thank you all anyway xx

I’d recommend a chiropractor, a session really helped me whilst pregnant as they can align your body correctly so the nerves can run freely. I hope you’re already feeling better though!!
