Okay so I know it's very much frowned upon to make bottles in advance but I've tried making them fresh with the kettle and he screams for 40 minutes.
We think my little one has reflux, he spits up and is quite fussy during feeds. He has always had cold milk, we prep the milk in advance and store it in the fridge. Unless we are out, we have a nuby rapid cool for when we are out so it's warm then, but I haven't noticed much of a difference when it's warm.
So my question what is the best way to warm milk up quickly and safely. Do I bathe the bottle in a hot water bath? Do I get a bottle warmer? Do I use the method I use when we are out? Help and advice please

I just make fresh and do the hot shot method with the rapid cool, takes a couple of mins.
If you’re warming bottles, which bottles do you have? As the MAM have the holes in the bottom so it’s a different way to warm them up in a jug etc tha tommee tippee

Microwave or frying pan

I use bottle warmer and loved. It warm the bottle up in a minute or two. And had a setting for if it was cold starting out, room temperature starting out, etc.
For frozen breast milk I just ran hot water over the bag until it melted and warmed or left in refrigerator and then warmed in warmer.

I made bottles in advanced, this helped my LO reflux using the fridge method! Doing it this way settles the bubbles and easier for baby.
We used a Tommee Tippee bottle water - for a 5oz bottle it took roughly 5 minutes to heat up but I always took it out around the 3 minute mark to test the temp. You can get the travel Tommee Tippee warmer too which you fill the flask up with boiling water and heat on the go.
If we was out, I’d make a bottle and take it with me and make sure it was used within 2 hours so I didn’t have to use the nuby. X

If you cannot follow the advice for making up a feed away from home
If it's not possible to follow the advice for formula feeding away from home, you should use a carton of ready-to-feed liquid formula.
If you have no other option, you might need to transport a feed as a one-off. To reduce the risk of infection, follow these instructions carefully, but do not do this regularly.
Prepare the feed at home, cool under a running tap or in a bowl of cold water, and put it in the fridge to cool.
Make sure the feed is cold. Take it out of the fridge just before you leave and carry it in a cool bag with an ice pack, and use it within 4 hours. If you do not have an ice pack, or access to a fridge, the made-up infant formula must be used within 2 hours.
If the formula that you made up at home is stored:
in a fridge – use within 24 hours
in a cool bag with an ice pack – use within 4 hours
at room temperature – use within 2 hours

We always warmed up in microwave, heating for 15s then giving a good swirl to avoid hotspots, never had an issue with either of my babies doing this x

Hey value bottle warmer

We put them in a jug of cold water to cool them. It takes about 10 minutes to cool though. To warm a cold bottle I’ve been microwaving them (I know, it’s not recommended) for about 30 seconds, shake, test and go again if it’s still cold. They’re Tommee Tippee anti colic bottles that can be microwaved to sterilise.
