1/91 chance of Down syndrome
Hi everyone,
I had my blood test after the NHS 12 week scan on Monday, and just had a call from the screening midwife to say the blood test results show a 1/91 chance of baby having Down syndrome which is considered high.
I’ve been invited to go and have the NIPT today which I am going to have this afternoon.
Can anyone please share their experiences with a similar result?

My ratio was 1/17 and I had the CVS test which came back fine. My daughter is now 19 months 🥰
Do you have any factors as to why the ratio was high? E.g your age etc

How did you get on? I have had my results as 1/22 and going for NIPT tomorrow. Also due to low PAPP-A (0.29). Hope you got on okay x
