Help šŸ˜…

My 4 year old girl is an absolute demon now! Her attitude is awful, she never listens, then she’ll get upset when we remove something from her for not doing what she’s been asked (probably 3+ times). She never sits still, she wants CONSTANT stimulation. She does have younger twin siblings which does suck for her… but they’ll be 2 in March and I’ve l just had enough of it and I’m not sure what to try next or if this is normal! She’s so much more active than any of my friend’s children of the same age, but what’s really getting to me is the not listening at all and she’ll just talk over you mid sentence!

It could be ADHD her school should help her get evaluated if they notice she can’t focus. Neurodivergent kids aren’t easy but it does get better if you understand how their mind works. For adhd dopamine is what drives us and we literally need stimulants to feel ā€œnormal.ā€ So maybe worth talking to someone about. My son has always been like this and I’ve been diagnosed my whole life essentially. It’s extremely frustrating some days just trying to get them to get dressed and out of the house without melting down. ADHDers struggle often with impulsivity and the need to talk over anyone to get a point across before we forget in 5 seconds. I do this, and my son does and I still get frustrated at him because it is incredibly difficult.

He really loves any kind of fidget toy, his teacher even gives him one for assemblies or anything he has to sit for long periods. He loves disco balls and lights in general. Tents, and gym blocks he enjoys using when just sitting in the living room and going wild.
