Aw my daughter is also 5 and was diagnosed with T1 just over a year ago. Unfortunately we aren't near Walorth as we are in the West Midlands, but just wanted to say hi☺️

Yes it is nice to talk to people who can relate☺️We are doing okay thank you. Rosie has coped well from the start really. She was diagnosed in Dec 2024. She is on the Omnipod 5 which has been a game changer. Is your son on a pump? How does he find it all? My heart breaks for Rosie sometimes

Yes, such a huge shock. She had symptoms but we just hadn't connected the dots. I took her into the Dr's for a suspected UTI and we were sent to hospital. Such a scary day. Did you manage to catch it early? Aw that's amazing! Yes we saw a drop, but we seem to have stalled at 59! Hopefully it'll have come down again at her next clinic appointment🤞Bless him, that is so sweet. They are so little still🥺 It used to be a battle but she takes the pod/sensor off herself now which has helped massively xx
