For me the worst is that sinking feeling that you get hit with when you realize this isn’t an isolated thing that just a group of rich people have been doing since the 80s. This has been going on with all wealthy secret class of people since the start of humanity. It breaks our bubble that we live in a mostly good world. I think most people thought these horrendous things stopped hundreds or thousands of years ago. But they’re still happening every day all around the world.
