EasyJet flight - advice needed!

Hello! So I have bought the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 for our holiday as folded down that should fit in the overhead locker on a flight. Has anyone experienced being able to take their pram into the overhead and do I need to pay for a large cabin bag before? I have a chonky boy who can’t walk or crawl yet and I really would rather not have to carry him with everything else when getting off the flight and through passport control. Thanks in advance!

With easyjet yes, you have to pay extra if you want to take it in the cabin. It is only free on hold. Sometimes they have let us pass the buggy for free in cabin but it depends on the staff.

What you can do is get your buggy to the gate, there they take it on hold and you get it back when you land. But sometimes they haven't given it back to us and he have to collect it on the belt, which is very annoying as you have to carry the baby until you get there. To avoid this, we pay the extra fee.

You get two free kids items per child. You need priority/smart boarding to be able to take the buggy in the cabin (although I have just ignored giving it to the ground crew and just taken it on without a problem but it's a risk) you don't all need priority just book 1 out of your party to have priority with the baby and they can take the buggy.

Most of the time they give you the buggy on the runway once you land if you put it in the hold before take off
